Milk, It Does a Body Good

Milk makes a great snack and keeps our nails and bones strong, but did you know that milk also keeps your skin soft, clear and beautiful? For centuries, milk has been used to keep skin looking great. Legend has it that Queen of the Nile, Cleopatra used to bathe in milk and honey and was known for her glowing complexion. Milk contains lactic acid, which naturally exfoliates the skin and honey makes an amazing moisturizer.

Four easy steps for a bath that's fit for a queen:

1. Fill your tub up with warm water.
2. Add 3-4 cups of full fat milk in powder form.
3. Add 1 cup of honey.
4. Enjoy!

Another great way to incorporate milk into your skincare routine is to do add an Almond and Milk Scrub. Almonds are not only delicious, they contain natural oils that help keep skin smooth, clear and moisturized. It's also super easy to make.

Almond and Milk Body Scrub:

1. Take a handful of almonds and add them into a food processor.
2. Slowly add milk to the almonds, as they are being processed. Add just enough to create a paste.
3. Store the paste in a pretty lil jar and use it when you shower to exfoliate.
4. Rinse well and moisturize!
