French actress, singer and model, Vanessa Paradis, is the new face of Chanel's Coco Cocoon Fall 2010 ad campaign. Paradis is also the face of Chanel's Coco Rouge lipstick. The Chanel Couture Fall 2011 collection is very elaborate and beautiful. The clothing is very glamorous and full of embroidery rich with details of sequins, jewels, and colorful patterns. Big bracelets were the main accessory and mid-calf boots in gold, black, silver and other assorted colors were the only shoes seen. 
The Chanel Pre-Fall 2011, which was meant to be set in Instanbul took place in Paris. The Byzantine-themed Chanel show and collection them was inspired by the Byzantine empress, Theodora: "Theodora was a circus artist who became empress, like Chanel, who was a little singer and became a fashion empress."
